Big Clock is built to be simple. These answers cover the most common questions.
How do I start a shift?
Enter your base hourly rate, select your overtime multiplier, and start the clock. Big Clock will display your estimated overtime earnings as the timer runs.
Which overtime rates are supported?
Big Clock supports 1.5×, 2×, and 3× overtime multipliers.
Why isn't the Live Activity showing?
Make sure Live Activities are allowed for Big Clock in iPhone Settings. Starting a shift should allow Big Clock to show your running information on the Lock Screen.
Does Big Clock calculate taxes?
No. Big Clock estimates gross overtime earnings from the hourly rate and multiplier you enter. It is not payroll or tax software.
Is my information uploaded?
Big Clock does not collect data from the app and does not require an account.
